Lisa M. Colautti is an Associate at Weiss Burkardt Kramer LLC, having joined the firm in 2010. She has been practicing law for over 25 years and brings a wealth of knowledge in child welfare and public sector law to the firm. Her areas of practice at WBK include labor, employment, student discipline, Right-to- Know, Sunshine Act, Charter School and general school law issues.

Before joining WBK, Lisa was the Founder and Director of the Adoption Legal Services Project in Pittsburgh where she assisted volunteer attorneys from Reed Smith in finalizing adoptions for over 1,200 foster children. She also worked as an Allegheny County Assistant County Solicitor, specializing in human services, and she served as a law clerk to the late Honorable David W. Craig, President Judge of the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court.

Lisa is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, the School and Municipal Law Section, and the Judiciary Committee of the Allegheny County Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in the Western and Middle District Courts of Pennsylvania, as well as the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. She received her Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law, a Master’s in Public Administration from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, Princeton University, and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Villanova University.
